The Sundance Film Festival has been a Utah classic since 1978. In an effort to keep the film festival in Utah, Visit Salt Lake and Park City partnered together to host a site inspection for the Sundance Film Festival committee. The site inspection focused on the theme “Main to Main”; the connection of Park City Main Street to Salt Lake City Main Street.

One of the ways this theme was showcased was in a logo featuring two points connected by a path surrounded by film reel. This logo was used in connection with photographs of Park City’s Main Street and Salt Lake’s Main Street. Other collateral included street flags, agenda badges, a printed venue field guide, a branded bus, signage around Salt Lake City, and more.
